Interested in becoming a Respite Sitter. Tuscola Behavioral Health Systems provides the training at no cost to the Respite Sitter.

ALL Respite Sitters MUST satisfy all training requirements by TBHS PRIOR to being paid for services. Sitters must be current on their certifications PRIOR to submitting a reimbursement requisition for payment.

The following trainings are required:

Recipient Rights - required annually

First Aid & Bloodborne Pathogens - 2 year certification

CPR - Adult, Child and Infant & Bloodborne Pathogens - 2 year certification

If you are currently certified in American Red Cross/American Heart skills, please provide copies of your certification cards.

Training will take place at: 129 East Burnside Street, Entrance #3, Caro (previously Big Brothers/Big Sisters building)
